upcoming Mississauga Goddamn. The as-yet-untitled EP will be initially released as a limited 10″, with a CD version following later in the year. My “in” at
AbKosh has already informed me that this EP sounds, and I quote, “fucking nice”.

Secretly Canadian has the release info up for Jens Lekman’s next EP for them, The Rocky Dennis EP, out April 6th.

And from Coolfer comes news that the modern “touring” version of Big Star (Alex Chilton and Jody Stephens, plus Posies Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow)
will be releasing a studio album. Not sure yet how I feel about that. Frank
also pointed out recently that the Posies will have a new album out on Rykodisc later this year.
