Since we’re still 6 or 8 months from a new Spoon record, Peter (from the Spoon List) put together a page where you can download demo and live versions of songs expected to show up on the next record. These include “The Two Sides Of Monsieur Valentin”, “My Mathematical Mind”, “They Never Got You”, “Sister Jack”, and “I Summon You”. I think “My Mathematical Mind” is the one that used to be referred to as “Belting Up/Planning For The Apocalypse Is Not Considered Cool”. As if you really give a shit. Go download.
I know I’ve posted enough Destroyer links to make you want to slit your wrists with a dulled cheese knife, but regardless, DOA has an interview up today.
Jon pointed out that Merge Radio’s up over at their site, along with all the individually-streamable tracks now available in the media section.
