It’s Week 2 over at kaleb’s Magnetic Fields Tribute site, which means two new songs. This week it’s Grumpy Bear doing “Smoke and Mirrors”, and Everything Is Fine doing “The Dreaming Moon”.

The video for Herman Dune’s “Not On Top”. Thanks to BMR for the tip-off. And note that BMR’s going out on the road soon (with Jason Anderson):

8-13 // Easthampton, Flywheel
8-14 // Brattleboro, VT, Common Ground

Are You Familiar just posted another one by The Paper Cranes that you should probably check out, plus also 2 tracks from The Two Koreas, which are also v. good. Go check ‘em out.

Secretly Canadian signed Austin’s I Love You But I’ve Chosen Darkness.

Listen to NPR’s Weekend Edition this Sunday, and you’ll get to hear an interview with Ben and Steve, aka the brothers from different mothers of the Robbers On High Street.

New Yorkers, note that there’s a John Guilt solo/acoustic show tomorrow night at the Trash Bar. It’s 7 bucks cover, but there’s open bar from 9-10.
