Silver Jews, Long Winters, Joggers, New Pornos, Destroyer
StG has a new Silver Jews track up, from the upcoming Tanglewood Numbers. Carl Wilson has some Berman-related thoughts to share, too.
For those that have been waiting for some Long Winters tour dates, wait no more; you’ll get them in September. With Keane (those guys with the song with the piano).
The Joggers have a few songs posted (technically, “streaming”, nyah nyah!) from their upcoming record, With A Cape And Cane.
Pre-order the New Pornographers’ Twin Cinema for $10, and get a limited one-sided 7″ with an unreleased NPs song. I’m gonna have to pre-order, just in case it’s a Bejar one.
Adam sent me a note telling me that The Caribbean was doing a short tour. The tour was so short, in fact, that due in no small part to my ability to procrastinate, there are only 2 dates left to tell you about:
Tues., July 19: In-store, Sea Level Records, Los Angeles, CA
Wed., July 20: Knitting Factory, Los Angeles, CA
Their new record, Plastic Explosives, will be out at some point in
the future on Home Tapes. And if
you’ve never heard the Caribbean, here’s the title track from their last one, William Of Orange.
