Levi Fuller
I was delighted to hear that the record that Levi Fuller has been working on, This Murder Is A Peaceful Gathering, is set to be released in the very near future. As such, Levi has posted the final, mastered versions of two great tracks from the album:
::: Bread :::
::: Crow Lady :::
I can’t tell: is this Pfork track review of Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin’s “House Fire” supposed to be positive or negative?
I’ve recently realized that the sheer abundance of Mp3 Blogs these days, and the tendency of many of them to post every single press release that comes into their mailbox, has resulted in me missing some good stuff. I always thought it was all about separating the wheat from the chaff, but anymore, it’s like people just throw the whole damn bushel at you and tell you to sort that shit out for yourself (i.e. “Back To Square One”). Anyway, I can sense a long digression (or a bad case of gas) bubbling up, so I’ma stop right here, and get to my real point, which is: this band, Oh No! Oh My! (neĆ© The Jolly Rogers) made the rounds on most of the Mp3 Blogs about a month ago, but I somehow missed them completely. Luckily, I came across ‘em last night, and damn, they’ve got some fine lil’ pop songs; check it out:
::: Walk In The Park :::
They’ve got a bunch more mp3s on their site. Or, hell, just buy their CD, it’s only a buck-fifty.
