Woods
Yes, I know that posting has been meager around here lately. Please realize that will change as soon as I start coming across more stuff that’s actually worth posting about. Stuff like:
This new Woods album, At Rear House. I consider this to be a totally amazing album, but I do realize it’s def. not for everyone. It is LO-FUCKING-FI. It was originally released on CASSETTE, and the CD version (that just came out in Jan.) is on freakin’ SHRIMPER, get it? Anyway, all I’m sayin’, as always, is don’t take my word for it, listen to the mp3s and make up your own damn mind.

::: Woods - Be Still :::
The vinyl will be out (in May, I think) on Woodsist. Oh, and there’s one more track over there in this month’s mix, too.
Speaking of which, there’s also another track from the very-soon-to-be-sold-out Forest Fire disc in the new mix too. How fucked up is it that the two discs I’ve been spinning the most lately are by FOREST FIRE and WOODS?* Maybe I should dust off my old TREEPEOPLE records?
(*even more fucked up? I just noticed that *both* of those bands live mere blocks from each other.)
Continuing on the CBR tip: Not only is the new Fulton Lights album now officially available, but also, the special Limited Edition Catbird version of the album is *finally* shipping (sorry so slow, durr). Orders are going out today and tomorrow. And while we still have some copies of our version available, you can also buy the regular edition over at Android Eats Records if you so desire.
Oh, and please come join us for the Fulton Lights release show at Tonic on March 15th, with special guests Still (from Dalek), and Frances.
