Sub Pop 20th Anniversary News

Details (well, rumored details) have begun to trickle out in re: Sub Pop’s 20th Anniversary Celebration. The festival is (possibly) going to be held in Redmond, WA at Marymoor Park on July 12 & 13. The bands will span Sub Pop’s history, and (probably) feature current roster guys like Blitzen Trapper, Fleet Foxes, and No Age, bands from the recent (Postal Service) and distant (Mudhoney) past, and two special reunions: proto-grungies Green River and (very likely) Denver, CO band The Fluid, Sub Pop’s very first non-Pacific Northwest signing back in ‘85.

And oh yeah, the Sub Pop Singles Club is coming back.
