Robert Pollard has teamed with Richard Davies, of the late, great Cardinal for a new joint project called COSMOS. Their record Jar of Jam Ton of Bricks will be out on 6/9.

untune the sky is a great record and the moles instinct, really davies first solo record in all but name, is the weird and fantastic experiment that lead to cardinal. all of davies solo albums are great and worth owning if you don’t know them (telegraph and Barbarians are the easiest to get into but there has never been a crowd like this before has some great songs).
Bob and R. Davies are two faves so i can’t wait for the whole the whole ball of wax.

I’ve heard that Davies’ solo records are out of print because the label went under. Has someone reissued them recently? Untune the Sky is phenomenol. Haven’t heard Instinct…yet. Any word of Davies/Pollard shows?
