i got the album last year at your recommendation and was not immediately impressed with it. i liked it pretty well. i love his work in wilderness, and listened to this album a bit when i got it, but then kno(w)here came out, and i totally forgot about the lord dog bird. kno(w)here is my favorite wilderness album, primarily because of mccann&#039;s backing/co-lead vocals on several tunes. 

anyway, something about the lord dog bird album never stuck until just right now. i hadn&#039;t listened to it since i got kno(w)here, and for some reason, this album makes so much more sense now. so thanks for posting about it again. well done.</description>
