I’ve been listening to it since Mid-April, but it was only recently that I realized how much I love the latest Herman Dune record, Not On Top. I’ve been listening to it at least once a week for quite a while now. If you haven’t done so already, I urge you to check it out. Jagjaguwar reports that Okkervil River is finishing up a new EP, tentatively titled The Black Sheep Boy Appendix, featuring more “Black Sheep Boy”-related songs.

It took me about 3 listens, but I really, really, dig that new Vanderslice. Mark your calendar for August 23rd, that’s the official release date for Pixel Revolt.
