Not Lame is releasing a
Teenage Fanclub tribute
in February. If you don’t want to wait, you can always just get
this one.

Hipster interns,
which are different from “Street Team” members in that they are actually allowed to come into the office, and
different from “Online Street Team” members in that they actually leave the house at all.

$7 Merge t-shirts, anyone?

Everyone’s crappin’ they pants over the Unicorns.
Judge for yourself:

And the AMC channel seems to have followed up its Pernice Brothers promo spot with spots
featuring Ted Leo’s Biomusicology and FOW’s Peace and Love. Methinks there’s

Labels Labels Labels

Three Gut Records’ superstars the Constantines have signed on with Subpop, who will release their new album around May or June. Three Gut’s other superstars, Royal City, have signed on with Rough Trade.

The Stranger is reporting that Matador is hot to pinch Pretty Girls Make Graves away from Lookout!.

Also, Catbirdseat faves John Guilt, aka Maestro Echoplex, are still without domestic distribution for their new release, The Mirrors and Uncle Sam. Munich Records had sense enough to sign them on for European release, but no American labels have caught on as yet. Dummies.
