Later this month, Secretly Canadian will be putting out the next disc in their “Jens Lekman EP Series”. This one’s called You Are The Light. Here’s the title track, sounding kinda like Stephin Merritt covering the Divine Comedy with Wayne Newton’s backing band:

Jens’ full-length, When I Said I Wanted To Be Your Dog, will be out September 7th.

And speaking of EPs, the Poster Children have an EP, On The Offensive, coming out next month. It’s one of those politcally-oriented thingies, but it’s all covers.
