So, You-Know-Who played on

So, You-Know-Who played on Conan the other night. The thing that I thought was nice was the presence on-stage of Owen Pallett. Zoilus talks again about Owen, aka Final Fantasy today, including pointing out some downloads from Has A Good Home. Downloads include “Adventure.exe“, “The CN Tower Belongs To The Dead“, and “Furniture“. Quite frankly, I’m flabbergasted that bloggers haven’t been falling over themselves to post the track “This Is The Dream Of Win and Regine”, because “OMG! IT’S, LIKE, A SONG *ABOUT* THE ARCADE FIRE! OMG!”

I keed, I keed. It’s actually a great song, and it’s actually a really great album, that I highly, highly recommend. I did have one tiny problem with Has A Good Home, but Carl was kind enough to help me work through it. (My problem is at about the 1:24 mark on “Furniture”, btw).

I had said to Carl that it was “like a crispy black ink stain on the breast pocket of an otherwise immaculate white suit.” Carl pointed out, “An immaculate white suit is fashion. An immaculate white suit with a black ink stain on the breast pocket is art.”

I can live with that.
